Floodwater Pale Ale
On Christmas Eve in 1955, Sutter County was plagued with a flood that took lives, injured thousands, and caused damage in excess of $2.5 billion dollars (calculated with inflation). This beer was brewed to remember those that were lost and those that persevered through the flood to later help build the strong community we now enjoy in Sutter County today.

Franklin Double IPA
“Beer is living proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy”, oh that Ben and his love for beer, and memorable quotes. Probably a misquote, he was more likely discussing rain as the “proof” and how it nourishes the vineyard. So Franklin liked wine, okay, he also liked freedom and taking long walks with a kite during thunder storms. We all know deep down this lover of life, also LOVED beer and we would just prefer to turn a blind eye to any historical inaccuracies and to see this founding father in a brighter, more fun loving light. As far as we are concerned, he was an outspoken lover of craft brewing, a brash ale drinker and a slapper of backsides after a hearty belting of a patriotic tune.

Riley's Red

Originally from County Mayo, Ireland, Riley immigrated to the United States for religious reasons like many Irishmen in his day. This robust and hoppy red ale has all the best features of an American craft red ale, but still grounded with Irish style and Irish Ale yeast. We hope you enjoy this American twist on a classic Irish Red!

Junior Triple IPA
“Look, we know we will be judged, “not good enough to be called…”, oh the scandal of it all. But please understand that we did not mean it to go this far. We were just messing around; passion simply clouded our better judgment. Maybe we should have just kept it in our pant's…pocket. The idea I mean. We were just looking for a good time, sewing our oats (or barley as it were), not necessarily looking for a progeny (albeit illegitimate) or a hopped-up descendent of our Franklin Double IPA. We just wanted something a little wilder, a little more rebellious, a little YOUNGER, if you will. The ELDER Franklin (Ben as he’s known) was such a straight and narrow, patriotic type, we needed something that spoke to his King -loving child, the one that he didn’t mean to have. So we just did it, and being responsible participants in this creation (it took more than two for this tango), we will claim it and proudly give it our name: A tribute to William Franklin, the YOUNGER of the two, or as we like to call him…Junior, the illegitimate one, a product of messing around.”

Farmers Tan Ale
Agriculture is the backbone of our heritage in Northern California and in our growing city of Yuba City, California. This hazy tan ale has a pleasant fruity and floral aroma, with light mineral hop bitterness. It is crisp, creamy and lightly sweet, brewed with a touch of coriander which adds the citrus and pepper spice flavor subtlies.
